Yeah, before Dsplayer I too tried pretty much every feasible alternative and came to the same conclusion, Kodi with it's add-ons and skins is simply the best from user experience standpoint, and nothing really seems to have changed in the last few years. With Dsplayer it really is the closest at "best of both worlds" (Customization & user experience) HTPC users can hope to get.
I think it's a pretty small group that care so much about this stuff, but it's all the more passionate.
