Take your time to get used to the possibilities and configuration functionality of a media manager like TMM.
And maybe keep your hands off the media file renamer functionality at first - unless you really know what you are doing. :-)
I personally don't use any renamer functionality as i like to name new media files myself correctly.
After knowing my typical use case of TMM i really use it in my sleep when adding new media for many years now. Never had any major issues with it.
TMM3 (what i use) is still completely free and should work long enough to check out if you like it.
