I need the channel numbers to remain constant, so I can plug them into pseudotv without having to edit the channel list all the time...

is there a way to lock them down and NOT have them update automaticly? possibly a stupid question as i jut got it going over this weekend....

The channel numbers would only change if you change the playlist that feeds your IPTV Simple Client setup. If someone else is changing the playlist then you should just save your own copy of the playlist and use that.
