Just for my understanding: would this mean, that any MyVideos<xy>.db with xy < 92 in /.kodi/userdata/Database can be removed? Does this also apply to any other type of database, e.g. MyMusic, TV, Epg, etc.?

Yes, these can be removed, but by removing you can't go back to an older release because there is no compatible DB file anymore (an empty one will be created and used then). If you keep them you can go back and have the DB state from the time before the upgrade (changes to DB in newer version won't be applied in old version).
