We found weighted prediction in P frames was disabling the gpu acceleration and was present in the samples that didn't play well. Can you retest you h.265 files with latest build and let us know if it improves things.

Yes it does improve playback noticeably. eg. The "Universal" logo rotating around the Earth no longer stutters and skips on some of the 720p clips I have. (Turbo Overclocked)
Recent optimised H265 decoding is definitely better than what is was originally. Progressing nicely.

Certainly a welcome improvement.

EDIT: For those running TVHeadend Client - build #0518 fixes the EPG crashing.
