A normal log is better than nothing... however if you're experiencing a hard freeze of the entire OS, then it's unlikely there'll be much useful information in the log, but still worth a look. If these freezes are frequent then it's imperative that you identify the build when this started. Although there have been several new kernels in the last few days, and there will be another (4.0.4) tonight.
I can probably get a different type of log if you let me know what to log. I can't make it lock up, but I do have a lot to watch so it will eventually lock up.
And I believe this problem started around the May 6th build.
