Also tried it on a Nexus 9, same thing. Looks like PVR WMC is totally broken on Android in 15 beta 2

Yeah, I tried last night on my Nexus 7 tablet and I have the same issue as my Shield. Bumped my post in the Shield thread, but it sounds like maybe we should start a new thread as the issue does not seem to be just hifiaudio2 and my Nvidia Shields.

Same issue here on my Nexus 7 2012 with the current Kodi release from the
Google App Store (Kodi 15.0 Beta2 2015-06-14). The Add-On does not load.
Does anybody know where to look for the log ?
It keeps telling me to check the log, but I cannot seem to figure out where it is...

Not sure what 'tvs watching tv' means exactly. But consider posting the serverwmc log after a crash on pastebin.com and putting a link to it here.

I am having the same problem with it on my Note 3 and NVidia Shield TV. On my Note 3 while at work, I uninstalled Kodi 15 beta 2 (what is currently on the play store.), and side loaded Kodi 14.2. Now the PVR Wmc remains enabled, but of course I get a connection lost message, as I can't reach my WMC machine. I will try 14.2 at home on my NVidia Shield and let you know how it works. I am thinking that the issue is with Kodi 15 beta 2.

Same issue here with Nexus: It seems that all the Pvr clients will install except for PVR WMC in Kodi 15. I downgraded to 14.2 and it works great. Problem is I came home last night to find my Nexus automatically updated to 15 again. I plan to get an HDHomeRun and just use the Live Channels app for the tuner but until then, I'm still trying to get Kodi to behave.
