I have come to realize that I'm getting blacker blacks on my LG OLED with MPC-HC & MadVR. Once I discovered it, I can't "unsee" it. I've gone back to playing all ISO external for now. That's a bit of a step backwards. I have fiddled and fiddled with settings to no avail. Is there a particular place I should look to make sure Kodi is not altering or adjusting the content?

My comment is rue for MKV, ISO, 1080p, DVD and 4K - makes no difference.

This is with Matrix, I have not spent the time to go back and see if I see the same thing with Leia.

FIXED - in Nvidia control panel I had "use Nvidia settings" when I moved to "use video player settings" the blacks got black again. I'm not sure why it didn't effect MPC-HC but I'm good
