Hello Everyone,

I felt I should pop by and let everyone know the status of Madnox. Unfortunately I would have to say right now that Madnox is on hold with regards to any involvement from me and possibly schimi2k as well.

I'll be honest and let you know why, on the 21/09 my Mother passed away and we have only just had her funeral yesterday on 09/10. So the recent weeks have been very difficult to deal with.

Due to what has happened I honestly don't know the status of my involvement with Madnox is right now or in the future. I tried to do some work recently in an attempt to take my mind of things but it didn't help!!!

It's a very difficult time right now and I don't know what the future holds for me right now in any aspect. I hope and intend to come back to Madnox at some point but I don't really know when and if I actually will. Don't see the point in a lot of things right now!

I thought I should let you all know the situation with Madnox as I know a lot of you like the mod we have done and that here hasn't been much done to it recently and there is an outstanding long list of things that need / should be done to Madnox as well, so you may have been wondering what's happening with Madnox, especially with Jarvis coming soometime soon.

To those who helped me with the skin - Schimi2k, MikeSilvo, Meowmoo - the skilled skinners etc etc., I can't really say much more right now than thank you very much for everything you helped with me on Madnox and skinning in general.

To those who use Madnox, thank you for your comments / thanks / help in improving Madnox and making it what it is, which is I believe a great community skin mod. It was fun seeing your suggestions / wants / improvements for our mod and doing what we could for the most of the time for you.

Schimi2k, thank you for everything my dear friend!

Skin Maddox, I personally have learned a lot in the total management of Kodi, for me it was a starting point, therefore, read obituaries of condolence in a technical forum how can 'be this, ratrista much for the pain of a fellow like her.
It goes about her for her courage and I add, hairs on his stomach for publishing his pain, not everyone.
I also think back over here to discuss MadNox, did not take away her pain immediately, though this may be of help in these painful moments for the loss of a dear family will take its time but still think MadNox It can 'be and become as an outlet inside.

Can someone help me how to seperate grown up movies and kids movies?
I followed this tutorial http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=150934 and I adapted it to madnox but it doesn't work.

When I click on the playlist it doesn't show any items. Just an empty box...

I made two directories on my drive. One for kids movies and one for grown up movies. I added them as a source. I then created playlists and selected that the path and the type.





Did I forget something?

Change your rules to "path start with" instead
Of "path is" and you are good to go

Hello guys,
well, now you know why its been so "quiet" lately around madnox...and Mike have the biggest respect when he post his situation here ... of course i knew the whole story before, and this shows us again, that nothing is so important like family ! ...

We start MADNOX, because SHEDNOX wasnt support anymore, but we dont want to loose one of the best skins out there ... Mike want to learn some coding, and i just want to have a nox 4 skin with some fresh gfx... it start as a private project with Mike,Manfeed and me, and now i am realy proud to see, where we are right now... MADNOX is almost running without any BIG problems ( well maybe some ) and when i see all those nice posts here i know... i think it wasnt all bad what we did so far...

BIG THX Mike for all this time we had so far... and maybe we will have again in the future


now the question some people will have right now... what happen with MADNOX ?

i need to talk with meowmoo, but i will try to continue with MADNOX as long as i can... well, i am not a coder, and i never will be, but some things ive learned, and i will try to fix the bigger problems i already know ( some screen positions when you need to type in passwords etc... ) maybe i will try to add some known features to existing views, but i cant add such big new stuff, like Mike before...
if there is someone with some coding skills who want to help... just send meowmoo or me a pm ... maybe we can bring madnox to a more stable status
i will test jarvis the next days, to check what is running and what not

oh, and another thing... i am still a bit busy right now in Private Life, so dont be mad when i wont answer right away

Thx! Now it works. But I don't see movie sets any more? In my previous setting where all my films (children + grownup) the movies appear in sets but now they are all apart

Are your sets in a different folder ? If so will need to add a rule
