for the context menu, there is a new context item you can install, again from phil, go into add-ons and look for a section 'context items' and in there should be 'extednedinfo script - open dialog'. This will add the exetended info option to the bottom of the context menu.

this is how it looks after installing the 'extednedinfo script - open dialog' add-on.
