Any chance it could be because it's a root directory and not in a season folder? Just my guess

I don't think so., But it would not hurt to have them sorted nice (have all my TV shows sorted in sub folders for seasons). One last idea.

Go to the TV library and remove the show. Now go to Kodi settings>video>library>clean library. That will take a minute or too to run. Then quit Kodi.

Then go to your c:\username\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\Database folder and delete the file "Textures13.db". Don't worry, Kodi will make a new one when the next time you start the program. (I use Windows but if you are on Linux I think it will be something like this /home/username/.kodi/userdata/Database)

Remember that the "username" part it of the address is what you login to your PC with.

Now restart Kodi and update your library. If that don't do it. Somebody else will have to help you.

Should not be needed, I don't need to do that sort of thing. I would not think anybody else would too.

For me having my tv show episodes sorted into folders is just smart and simple to understand. Why folks don't do it is weird to me lol OCD I guess
