I thought just that, but if I press escape or enter key in the moment the video ends, the kodi's gui loads instantly. If I don't press any of those keys I have to wait like 6 seconds until the gui loads.
So if I'm not wrong, the time with blank screen is not loading, but wait time.

Anyone has some idea about this?
Many thanks
Not yet, might have seen something in the startup that I hope to test soon.
Million thanks, I'll keep an eye here, It would be great having a solution

did you check a clean start without any intro ? and without any entry in advancedsettings.xml ? how long does it take there ?
i think this 6 seconds are used to cache the main images of the skin ( bigger skin, longer cache ) - i think confluence starts realy fast, because its using just one backround and some small images
when you have a look at systeminfo on startup, you can see in the first couple of seconds ( 10>20 seconds ) you will have a lot of CPU% - i can noticed it on my "small" player - when its start, its realy slow, because it used in the first seconds 100% cpu - when its going down, i can use it normaly
so i think this short time at the beginning is needed to cache all those addons, gimmicks, eyecandy stuff etc - if you want a ultra fast starting kodi player, you need to use confluence or any other similar skin without so much eyecandy like the aeon skins
well, thats what i noticed so far when i just have a look at the systeminfo and experience
but maybe someone else find a different solution
