Sorry if this has been asked before but a search didn't seem to provide any results

Madnox seems to have this glow on the bar on the main menu items that Shednox did not. Is there any way to disable that. I checked the setting and can't find any way to turn that off.

For example in Madnox:


there is a glow above and below the "System" label

where as its not there in Shednox:


is there a way to turn that glow off?
