Thanks Schimi. I figured as much in terms of the flags. All of my videos are mkvs with embedded subs, and I have made sure that all mkv tracks (video, audio, subs) have the language set. Is there any additional info I could send to try to figure this out? Please let me know. Thanks.

If you edited the mkv headers after the videos were scraped into Kodi I believe you have to refresh the video to see the appropriate flags. Might be worth a try to just refresh one of the videos that you know has the correct headers. See if anything changes.

Thanks wgstarks. I ensure all the info is set before adding to my collection. And in the video info dialog, the subs flags show up correctly.
