This hassle is why I requested that if a .gif artwork is present, have a toggle to give it precedence over a jpg or png.

You like giving us easy challenges don't you brazen All i can say now is I will look into a FULL upgrade of Madnox to incorporate some type of selector for fanart for either Animated or Static. Then we'll (I mean me) will have to go through ALL the code and update where needed and also build in fallbacks should you not have a .gif etc etc.

As you can see this will take some time so if we can do something we'll probably roll it out view by view once of course we get Madnox Jarvis complient.

So good to see you still have an interest in this wholesome hobby while so many others turn to darker alternatives to alleviate pain.
We miss you my friend and not only are you wanted.... you're needed, but on your terms.

Imo, Jarvis compliant is priority one.
The animated gif thing is to keep this ol' Nox state of the art and as heavy as possible. (chuckle)
In the mean time, the manual instructions could suffice should you find it challenging enough to conquer.
So, no expectations or pressure and as always, thank you for considering.

I dipped again with Jarvis but on previous occasions things were so problematic that I abandoned and went back to Isengard. Things have since become more stable as team Kodi are all set to release Jarvis !!
What I was having issue with was the stereoscopic notice that starts kodi " this resolution is not compatible with " which usually goes away but after a while kodi would actually go into stereoscopic 3D mode and only last night i figured out why..I have 3DTVplay installed and was throwing up into stereoscopic mode automatically.I have a passive 3D 55 incher which is powered via GTX 970. before I was primarily using 1920x1080 @60 for smooth playback but for full 3D rips it needs 24p. Now selecting hardware checkerboard I have 24p with smooth frames. .Since I selected hardware based in kodi video settings it changed to normal. Brazen you use 3D and others who use 3D .. any comments ? I hope I am doing it correctly now. Will test with a full 3D rip to check out. BTW using THIS Thread to use PDVD as external player .
But now things have again taken a slight turn.. whenever I am going into skin settings .. kodi just hangs and eventually I have to terminate the process to get out. So I am going to get a debug log and see whats happening here. And I would be so happy to finally test the animated gif posters etc on Jarvis. I was actually thinking for going the MQ6 way to test but now I do not need to. Will still check out the skin anyways but maybe not as my day to day.
