well... the animation code seems to be okay... it must be something elsewhere... but the problem is, that the log dont show me what ! i have sometimes my last log entry 2 minutes before the freeze ... and never have a entry when it freeze
i have some error of "script.module.requests", some other small unimportant errors and "XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting include" errors ... sometimes some bad animation errors ( but in the middle of the log, not near the end ! and just after i disable the animations
when i disable the animation, like andy did, it works BETTER ! but when i stress test the menu is mostly going like this:
start - navigate back and forth through the menus - 90% no problems and no freezes - when i wait a cpl of minutes and try to go into a menu > freeze - the backround dissapear and the menubar stays and freeze ( well because the zoom and fade is disabled ) ... but still freeze
maybe its a cache problem ( like the menubackround problem we have sometimes out of nowhere ) maybe something else ... maybe we get to the point, what phil65 is talking the whole time
nox 4 code is too oldschool ... but my last hopes are on Mike - if he cant find the bug neither... well...
like i say before - i spend already so many hours on try and test ... and dont have any small clue atm ... i thought first its because of the sql - but local DB freeze too ( much less ), when i found the bad letters in home.xml i was hoping too - doesnt work neither, and when i read andys post i was realy hoping ( could temp live without this animation )... but also not realy a solution ( maybe for some other ppl )
without any clue from the log file, i realy dont know where to look... but i realy want to keep nox4 - ive checked a lot of jarvis skins lately - and i have the biggest respekt for all those skilled skinner !!! but no skin feels so familiar like nox4 to me
so again - any help would be nice and i will keep testing ... but my hope is getting smaller and smaller
