I tried to enable/disable top 250/oscar view, played music, music videos, tv shows.. nothing. all seems to work perfectly.
The only thing I can think of is I removed and replaced all instances of the skin helper script (I prefer not to use it) but I'll keep trying so I can see if I can help find the cause.
thx shadowtek
what kind of cpu/gpu are you using ? amd or intel cpu ? seperate graphic card or apu ?
like i wrote before, i have almost no freeze on my dev machine with intel cpu and sep. graphic card
well, that info wouldnt help to solve the problem, but would be interesting to know hehe
He's on W7 too.
Very few freezes using
W10
Intel Xeon X5690 6 core @4.2
Nvidia GTX 650 Ti.
Jarvis nightly
Imo, 1 freeze is 1 too many.
The freezes I've had tend to occur after periods of inactivity and not really during use although they have occurred then as well.
There are times I install a nightly and have no freezes. None. I think it was around 11-24-15?
I used it a few days, updated, and freezes started again.
I would use that nightly to test again but fixes for other problems I presented to devs have since been released. Again, I had no freezes using that nightly. Someone else should confirm.
I think freezing issues have occurred for others, reading the forums, unrelated to this skin.
I would wait for Jarvis to finalize before pursuing and it should be getting close to release.
Again, try the nightly +/- a few days from the 24th.
