Cool that the weather is getting some love. The icons are now there if you download the new myweather.xml. Map don't work, but I think you know that.

Found something else (sorry!).

With addons, notably the youtube addon, or ones I think are derived from it like the reddit addon, Madnox seems to think the thumbnail is fan art. If you switch to fanart list, it sort of works like other addons, showing the thumbnail frame on the right with a list. That works, great.

Problem is it doesn't save the setting. Next page, or next time you come back, or if you press stop instead of letting a stream stop itself, Madnox reverts to that list view with the thumb or random fanart as the b/g.

(I double checked confluence/others don't do that.)

because of this map thing... i think our team wont spend too much time right now on adding this map feature... maybe in the future, when the more important things are done

I was trying to compliment, thank and also point out a problem with video addons derived from youtube. I think it all got rolled into "map thing."

So, on the map thing, I agree, not very important, not everyone likes to be a weatherman from the couch. I like it, and I can switch to a skin that supports it (default confluence included) with a few clicks. I hate broken stuff though (and explaining them to other users of my home theater), so maybe you should take out the link to the maps. Just a suggestion.

I'll do another post about the video addon views later I think, with screen shots. That's a much bigger deal to me. Addons that I really use often just don't work right with the views problem.

Think I'm actually looking into this now and may have it fixed. I believe what you mean is the right hand image is a square and doesn't display correctly when say viewing videos. I've changed it to display a rectangle thumb type image now for videos., will do a bit more testing and then push to GIT, this is for the List view only at this time as that's all I'm aware of?
