The only thing i not sure about the PVR mod is the "PVR Artwork ON" switch location.. could it go into the skin settings page?

Sure it can be moved to skin settings , I've throwed it in PVR pages in order to narrow the impact on the other skins xmls.
(sorry 4 english , hope this can be understood)
