My initial problem with the box is it was stuck at the mxbox logo... Not knowing what I was doing I did the tooth pick thing and loaded the box with new firmware, the wrong firmware.. Is it firmware or software?... I loaded gbox firmware in it and now it stays stuck on the gbox logo... The huge problem now is I can't get the box in recovery mode when I do the toothpick.. The box light stays red, it never turns blue now.

Any advice?

Advice? Go and hassle the people you bought the box from. If it isn't even able to boot up, then it is no point asking for help on a KODI forum as the KODI software hasn't had a chance to start up yet.

Go back to the seller and quiz them.
