I just noticed that in Kodi official release, it's using ffmeg 2.6.3, whereas for RPi/RPi2 version, ffmeg was bumped to 2.7.1 in built #0713. Is it possible that it's the ffmeg that lead to problem in x265/HEVC video playback?
Is it possible to have a build with rolled back to pre- ffmeg 2.7.1 (or ffmeg 2.6.3 specifically) for me to test?
