OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0)
As you may have guessed, the automated build failed (this new OpenELEC commit isn't compatible with Kodi 16, so I'll just drop it for now). The new build will be uploaded within the hour...

Edit: Turns out that particular commit is quite important for MCE remote control users, so I've had to fix that commit and respin the build...

"c37b5a7" is the git hash for the OpenELEC repo, and is added automatically by the OpenELEC build procedure.

In the case of build #0729c, there were no new OpenELEC updates so the hash remained the same as that used by the #0727 build.

Yes, and it's for this reason that mentioning this hash when discussing/referencing a test build is not a good idea - it's not definitive, and can therefore be confusing.

The only code that should be used when referencing a build is my own build code, ie. #0729c, as this is unambiguous and should never correspond to multiple builds (unless I cock it up when manually publishing experimental/debug builds, which might have happened once or twice!)

FYI, the Kodi git hash is visible in kodi.log - for example, tonight's #0730 build shows the following:
Code:
03:17:23   8.207521 T:1967562752  NOTICE: Starting Kodi (16.0-ALPHA1 Git:4081de3). Platform: Linux ARM 32-bit
...
03:17:23   8.208012 T:1967562752  NOTICE: Running on OpenELEC (Milhouse) - Version: devel-20150731030807-#0730-g0fa7209 [Build #0730] 6.0, kernel: Linux ARM 32-bit version 4.1.3

which maps to the first line in the release note:
Quote:Based on tip of OpenELEC master (0fa72090, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (4081de3a, changelog) with the following modifications:
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
