Build 1007 looks good. No lockups within 30mins of experimenting.
Got to go to work now but it would have locked up many times in 30 minutes so I'm pretty sure that this build is good.

Assuing 1007 is still good when you're back, can you try:

Just replace your kernel.img with that one and report if it helps.
