No chance, I'm afraid - too many issues, disagreement, plus it's now locked and hasn't been updated for almost 6 months. At the moment it it doesn't look like it will make it into any release, Jarvis or K* - perhaps if it's ever unlocked, rebased and cleaned up then it can be reconsidered...
Yeah I thought it might be a long shot when looking through some of the comments, thanks anyway.
For anyone who wants to run two PVR backends though, using a skin with an intro animation/video makes it work, probably because it gives time for them both to load. The Arctic: Zephyr skin works for me
