I expect it to replace X one day, and I've always read it works via EGL so hence my question. But I'm not that knowledgeable on the technical / architecture part so excuse my ignorance here
Was just wondering since Wayland is in the making for years now and I'm curious as to when it will finally be ready to be used in major distros.
