Hi all,
I'm running a Haswell celeron Pentium (G3450) and keep getting GPU hangs, causing the video playback to freeze and finally kodi to crash.
This is with the current Kodi nightly, on ubuntu 18.04 server. These problems first showed up for me in ubuntu 16.04 when using the HWE stack (any kernel newer than 4.4).
I've tried various options of the i915 module such as fbc/modesetting/rc6/semaphores but the hangs keep coming. Disabling adjust refresh rate also does not help.
I hope somebody here can provide some tips on solving it.
