FYI I've had good luck with Ubuntu 18.04, Kernel from https://github.com/M-Bab/linux-kernel-amdgpu-binaries, and Kodi nightly on the following platform shown below.
So far tested Jelly fish too 400Mbps with no issues and 4K content works but of course the TV never flips to HDR mode. Audio passthrough has been good so far with no issues and it seems stable.
