i cant seem to find the best way to use Kodi with HD Home Run
Id love to have a TV guide where i can find a show, click on it and start watching it inside kodi.
Whats the best way to achieve this?

The HDHomeRun add-on in the default Kodi.tv repo will give you basic guide data for certain HDHomeRun tuners.
For an actual grid of programming you will need to do something like set up the IPTV Simple Client using a playlist of HDHomeRun channels + a file with the EPG data. In the US I used schedulesdirect and payed $20 (I think) for a years worth of data, because there doesn't seem to be a free EPG source. Other countries might have free EPG providers.
If you also want recording abilities then you'll want to set up some recording software and use a fully featured
PVR (wiki) add-on.

Not sure why anyone would want to go through all of that.
ServerWMC is the easiest and cheapest solution. That's just my opinion.
