I have tried to open Kodi 15.0 Isengard and 15.1 RC1 on my mac and continually get Kodi quit unexpectedly. Below is the script of the problem details and system configuration from pastebin.

mhhh well we had 2 - 3 reports of this crash. I was never able to really get an idea whats the issue (its related to sdl for sure). Also the usual sources of information (like stackoverflow) have some information about it but i tried all those tips (one was implemented in the testbuild i linked). I guess you are out of luck.

At one point there is the plan to completely remove SDL on osx but as i am the only osx dev atm this won't be doable until we get some more manpower on that side. That step would pretty much solve the problem but as said - noone there for dedicating the needed time for it.
