I'm having problems running Kai off XBMC, more specifically every time I try to run it, I get a blank screen with just the PM skin. Now, I have no idea what version of XBMC I'm running, although when it boots up there is the TECH thing under the logo so I assume its recent, and i have no idea how to download and install a new version (a friend of my brother did the work), although there is an option to download a new version from Avalaunch. I have no problems running and playing Kai of my PC. Thanks in advance.

have a read through the guide thats in http://www.teamxlink.co.uk download section to make sure you have it setup correctly ..

you do know u have to have the engine running on the computer and XBMC is just a UI ..

I know i have to have the engine running on the PC, and i have read through the guide on more than one occasion. it states nothing about this.

how long ago did he put media center on your xbox ?.. i would highly recommend updating to the latest version .. does the internet work in xbmc ? .. can you get the weather ?

I got a new version installed sometime in the summer. And the internet does work, i can get weather, shoutcast, and all that stuff. Also, when i log onto Xlink from Avalaunch then boot XBMC up, i get a message saying its connected but it still freezes.

enable debug mode, reproduce the problem, post the debug log.

Ok, I reproduced the problem in debug mode, and i found the xbmc.log and xbmc.old.log files but, and this probably will make me sound stupid, I don't know to gain access to them on my computer. In fact, i've never really done anything like connecting my xbox to my computer.
