Hi,

I just installed Kodi with NextPVR.

I used to use WMC and there is an option to record by time and channel w/o guide. I used it often for sports game (games starts after the program starts and the end can go beyond the time in the guide). I can't seem to find such option in Kodi.

How do I do that in Kodi?

Skin dependent, but in default Confluence, on the main home menu "TV" there is submenu "Timer". That opens the PVR-timer window and you should see on top the option to "add timer". Click that and you get a dialog that lets you set a timer by channel/time (this dialog is dependent on your specific PVR client, but I'm pretty sure NextPVR works like this).
