Anyone? Smile

The build I used didn't appear to have it in the menus at all

I had to configure it with the advancedsettings.xml file...

After you run the app you can then go into the Xcode devices window and download the container for kodi, then modify it and replace it with the modified container

Hey Dan, mind writing up some instructions on doing this please?

I did but what i need isn't working, How do I get the metacontainer the plugin wants installed?
If anyone has struggled to get ac3/DTS pass through working, I found that if you have 'reduce loud sounds' turned on in the appletv setup, it breaks pass through.

Leaves you with silence or white noise.
Anyway to fix the failed error for common cache that happens each time loading up kodi? It's used by some plugins like Dropbox etc.

I'm watching (legal) IPTV through an addon but this addon is unfortunately not in a repo.

You cannot put zip files in the Apple TV but you can access them, for example via samba, if you put them in you computer Wink

Same for advancedsettings. You put the file in you shared location of your computer and then you copy it with file manager of kodi in the location of kodi where it should be Wink

I have the same error. For time being I disabled it
This is truly exciting development. I know this may still take a long time to complete an alpha releasse, but very exciting nevertheless.

One question - any experience with airplay. Does the ATV airplay function still works (for mirroring, photos, etc) when Kodi is running? How does the handover between the two work?

Can't transfer files via SMB:-(

Mac OS is to complicated...
The easiest way to transfer zip files for the AppleTV 4 is to install DBMC (Dropbox addon) and change the addon settings to view all files then highlight the zip you want and use the context menu to select "download from Dropbox"

Don't you need to be able to transfer zip files to install DBMC? Or can you install addons from the Kodi repo directly from the Kodi app?

Thanks for your advice. That works great.

You`ve just to copy the file from dropbox to your home folder and install all add-ons from that directory.
