Kodi 15.1 bug - Kodi always opens a streaming video playlist in the wrong window
#1
If you run PlayMedia("/some/path/in/filesystem.strm") with the playlist containing video streaming links, Kodi 15.1 always opens the playlist in Music-Now playing window.

This happens with GUI playlist opening as well.

Reproduce: put your streaming video playlist (for example channels like RT, France24) in userdata/playlists/video/playlist.strm. Then you open this playlist in Kodi (through GUI or via PlayMedia).
Result: Kodi puts the links into Music-Now Playing Window (Video - Now playing is empty).
Surely a bug.

Moreover, if you select any item from this wrong Music-Now Playing window, Kodi will get lost. It will open your item (position in a playlist), then it will simply clear the Music-Now Playing playlist (both Video Now Playing and Music now playing are empty now). If you invoke Next or Previous command, it will popup: "No item to play".

If you open a playlist with music, it opens in the Music-Now playing window. In this case you don't have the list cleared whenever you move through the items.

What about Video-Now Playing window? It's always empty. Right from the start. So, Music - Now playing is filled initially (with video streaming links), but then it gets cleared by Kodi (so you simply cannot navigate with GUI on such playlists). Video-Now Playing is never filled with the streaming video links.

This should be addressed by the Kodi developers.

Haven't tested the 15.2, but pretty sure the bug is still there.
