From a decoding / player standpoint SBS and TAB are not 3D. They're just plain old 2D. 3D video is MVC. People want MVC decoding from an .ISO output as framepacked 1080p24 (really 24/1.001), just like a 3D Blu-ray player does. Also, the ability to play back MVC in M2TS, MKV, and other containers.
Whatever,we have properly decoded the 3D ISO in kodi, which is the most important.
According to hdmkv's review the X6 doesn't not decode MVC correctly. MVC in a MKV plays back as 2d. MVC in an ISO plays back as SBS 1080p, but the two "eyes" / halves of the 1080p frame are the same.
Is the plan to offer MVC decoding from ISO, MKV, and other containers to framepacked 1080p24 from inside Kodi?
