Release PCloud.com video streaming (useful for VCast.it)
#46
Great addon!
Is there any way to add pCloud as a source so it can be scanned for movies etc?

I notice that this can be done with Gdrive:
How to add Google Drive as a source?
1. Add an account.
2. The source path is: http://localhost:8587/source/. If you want/need to change the port number, you can do so within the addon settings.

Hi, I have noticed a strange problem for the first time!

When you play a series tv episode and it finishes then it disappears from the list and cannot be checked anymore!
Any idea?

Solved, sorry!

It was a Kodi feature.

I released a video plugin that allows you to stream videos from your PCloud storage account. The account can be the basic free one or a paid one. Note that I am in no way affiliated with PCloud.com; I just use their services.

Current version is 1.3.0, released 23-Nov-2019.
In case you want install the latest version manually, here's the package (and the plugin sources):

Hope it is useful to someone. For me the main use case is in tandem with the Italian cloud VCR service VCast.it, which can save recordings directly to PCloud.

Hi @iam ,

Sure, I'll look into it. It would help me a lot if you opened a ticket at https://github.com/gdomenici/plugin.vide...ing/issues, and added your Android TV make/model, the Android version, and (if possible) the log file. If you dont have some of this info handy, then just open the ticket with just the text above.

Kind regards,

Guido

Dear Guido,

Thank you for your add-on.

I have the same question that steve-nz asked a few months ago. Is it possible to add pcloud links or folders as a source so they could be scanned and added to the library?

Thanks in advance,

Manu

FEATURE Request

It would be a great Feature, when you can add an option, to access to personal crypto folder
Please, it is possible to that?

Hi @rene1980 ,

Sure, I'll look into whether it is at least possible, as soon as I get a moment. If so, it should not be a problem.
Let's continue the discussion on https://github.com/gdomenici/plugin.vide.../issues/26.

Hi Guido,

Many thanks for the pcloud addon which seem to work nicely with my TV. However, I have a feature request: would it be possible to make the plugin available also as a Music add-on? I have my music library stored in pCloud and would love to use Kodi as the media player. From the thread I saw that pcloud add-on recognizes audio formats such as mp3, but Kodi cannot use it as a source for audio, only pictures and video. In my library I have primarily FLAC, AAC and MP3 files. I would be happy to assist with for example testing.

Thanks!
