I use a separate partition for my video cache and dvbviewer timeshift buffer. If I'm playing a file the video-cache files (I'm trying a zero cache setting) are deleted when I press stop.
If I'm watching tv then tsbuffer.ts can grow quite large - which would be fine except that if I press stop it stays there until it's deleted when another channel starts.
I can't see any advantage to this behaviour, and it obviously can reduce space on a drive for other temporary files (eg video-cache). Any chance of having a look - or explaining why it's intended behaviour?
Thanks for looking.
