Ist there any chance to automatically stop the IPTV stream as soon as kodi is the background?
Video addons are usually paused when kodi is in the packground but the IPTV simple client keeps playing all the time.

Thanks for the link but unfortunately it does not work on FTV and FTV stick with latest Isengard. If you press the home button on the remote control im dropped back to homescreen but still hear the audio of the stream.

You have to press "back" for it to stop the video.
