Hello. I opened my Kodi today on my 2nd gen Fire TV and was given the silent treatment literally. The red no sound icon appeared out of nowhere on the top right hand corner of the screen. I have tried researching a solution to the problem with no luck. I tried remaping the remote to the top and bottom buttons can control the volume but that didn't work. Is this because of the new update with Amazon and the sound issues they were having with surround sound? And is there any remedy to this without having to possibly reinstall or reset to factory defaults?
