Mine is a retail unit. As it is now, there is no HD audio passthrough for Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio or decode to multichannel LPCM. As mentioned earlier, if I set Kodi to 7.1 channels and then play a video with HD audio, the whole system freezes. It doesn't even look like the system supports multichannel LPCM output.
True HD works in system player I think.
The coming OTA update is to make it working in Kodi.
