Unfortunately many user (including me) have stuttering with 25fps on 50Hz on Shield.

No information, about fireTV2 and passthough DTS with the newest releases?

FireTV2 with new firmware does _not_ support DTS. The API does not expose it. We decided to keep it "sending" the PCM way ...

But to say that fully clear: Before v23 of the API, Android does _not_ want you to use DTS at all, see: http://developer.android.com/reference/a...CODING_DTS

Perhaps to be more clear here:

E_AC3 (*), AC3: Level 21 (see your kodi log on top for your API version)
DTS, DTSHD: Level 23

* Does not want the 7.1 files.

In order to use DTS on Level 21 version we need to send it as PCM (set volume to 100%, send IEC frames and hope that the AVR gets it).

Also video has alot of stuttering, this doesnt happen, and is a camera issue.

If I update my Shield Tv with the test marshmallow rom, can I use RC3 build with Passthrough ?! Right now it works ok on my setup with the last oficial rom.

i tested it on Nvidia Shield and it plays perfectly!!!! tested Trues HD 5.1 and DTSHDMA 5.1 everything play smoothly for me, great job guys!!! Big Grin

It would be great if we had a running list of AVRs this worked on. For example, I could not get basic DTS / DD 5.1 pass-through on my FTV1 using a Denon AVR-X2200W but I could on my older Onkyo SR605 and as a result I had to return the Denon.

My Shield will be here on Sunday.

Can I just download the 1/30 build that is on the beginning of this post and expect TrueHD to work?
