You both missed out one vital Step for WeTek Hub/Play2 when Dual booting to activate LE for the very first time - you have to hold down the remote control Power button to boot into LE.

The ODROID C2 is even simpler. Flash LE .img to SD or eMMC storage, plug it in and power on.
Say Hello to LE Kodi in about 9 seconds when using eMMC storage on subsequent reboots.
