Kodi still "upgrade" to 60fps
#1
Hi.
I have a video that is 23,976 fps.
When playing it in KODI (nvidia shield tv) it seems like it is upscaling it to 60fps.

Settings:

Adjust display refresh rate: Always
Sync video to the refresh rate of the monitor: Disabled

I have tried to enabled "sync video to the refresh rate of the monitor", still the same output.

The same info appear on my receiver 4k (3840x2160) 60 Hz, YCbCr420 24bit
TV: UHD 2160p60

I am missing something?

Did you try restarting the Shield while your TV and AVR are powered on and set to the correct HDMI input?
The Shield will only check the available refresh rates on boot.

Still the same issue with Kodi 16 rc2.

But... when playing movies I can see FPS is between 23 and 24.

May the case be that the main video from Shield and TV is 60Hz... but the videostream is 23,976fps?

You log says there's only 60Hz available on your TV so fix that first. Either you forced the SHIELD to that framerate or your TV/monitor doesn't support anything else.
100% not a Kodi problem.
