Hi. So i am looking at a phillips 4k 6400 series android smart tv and in the manual it says that the tv does not support subtitles over DLNA/From NAS. I know that the tv works with kodi, not only sideload but it can be found in the store and i need to know if i can use subtitles with kodi and acces videos from my nas?

Thanks in advance

The manual is about the internal media player. Those do not support subtitles most of the times (in my little experience) and AFAIK DLNA does not support subtitles in separate files, as only the main media file (mkv) is used.

Kodi is able to connect to you NAS via SMB or NFS and will support subtitles.
