Maybe someone can explain/help me - I can't get back the beautiful WALL view of the Movies section - it used to be only a cover image with an animated blue slide-out (4th screenshot on first post!) when focused but now the cover is on an ugly dark background with a movie name at the bottom. Have no idea how I previously got it but after fiddling around with dozens of reinstalls from different repositories I've had no luck.

Ubuntu server 16.04 Kodi v17 latest nightly.

Did a read couple of pages back and can see now that it's been done intentionally. Maybe an option to switch between two versions?

I agree the simple 6x2 poster view that you referenced really made me like Estuary. I think it will return, but if doesn't then it can be found in Estuary Mod as "simple view" with several other options, such as hiding the poster/movie name.
