a while ago i've written a little video add-on: It requests a list of youtube videos from a server and displays them in a list, very basic. Source Code is here: https://hb0.de/d7p

I am not 100% sure, but it think the following issue started after the update from Kodi 15 to 16:

I am using confluence skin. In the settings I configured a shortcut on the home screen to my addon. When starting the addon via the shortcut, the video list is not current. So when there are new videos, the list is not updated when starting via shortcut. Even after a reboot, the addon shows an outdated list when started via the shortcut on the home screen.

But running that plugin via "Video - Addons - MY-PLUGIN", the list is up2date. Every time I start the plugin that way, the video list is fetched fresh from the server and therefore current.

Via shortcut, the video list is not fetched and a cached maybe outdated list is displayed.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix that?
