HiMedia Q10 Pro review in post #1 updated, with grade raised to A-. Do you guys agree the major things left for HiMedia to address are these...
- Framerate mismatch-related skips, microstutters. I'm torn on this... I sometimes see it w/3D ISO's, but last week watched all 8 Harry Potter 1:1 MKV's in 2D and didn't notice any frame skips or microstutters
yes there are really really discreet
- Is HDR really working debateà
i made many tests , this is as if deep color do not works, 10Bit do not work i think, but the High dynamic range works very well
- Is Imprex 2.0 working properly?
no and i'm sure about this, the previous generation was much better
- Left edge of some videos have jagged video noise (visible if display has zero overscan)
Anything major missing?
To earn solid 'A' grade, all above should be fixed, or addressed however they need to be. Plus, HiMedia should also support MVC MKV's, or do you guys think supporting 3D ISO's is good enough?
in my opinion
