hmm. I'm getting the impression HDR is a very vague term, with very varying compliance. But an essential marketing checkbox feature atm

And if so, is there any Android device (customized for another company or not) using a remote with a stop button? I've read previously that there is no Android box in the market with a remote with that button, all of them just have a 'Return/Back' button. IMHO, I think HiMedia's purpose is kind of different and maybe, as I said before, they tried to include standard commands for other controllers which should use these standard (IR or key?) codes too (logically). The proof for my assertion would be to test a controller (IR remote or special keyboard) with the stop button, for example.
Quote:one key.xml for all Android HiMedia/OEM device sale in last 3 years. Like you already know are many Chinese version of box with different IR remote that international version. Some HiMedia customer have special request, for launcher / TV streaming / DVB tuner and other witch I not observed.

The SDR screenshot looks better than any of the HDR modes (granted, judging PQ solely by screenshots isn't accurate, but at least you can appreciate the differences in rendering).

Doing some testing with HDR files that i downloaded from UHD-demo and i don't see any HDR signal engage on my TV, HDR signal does engage when i use my Xbox One S to play UHD Blu-ray Disc, so i know HDR is working on my TV.

i made a mistake about One S, demo 4k hdr do not work at all (no picture no sound) as you only UHD Blu-ray Disc works.
with Q10 pro my tv switch HDR mode with all demo HDR (for information the box is connected directly to the TV)
i will uploaded my demo, tomorrow i will give the url if you are interested
see you
