Zap2xml for ATSC in OpenELEC
My guess is you grabbed that before I posted the updated file above. :-)

Also - remember that if it does fix the issue and you have xtra details enabled - you'll see the tvh log window sit on this:

2017-09-03 16:35:54.977 spawn: Executing "/storage/.kodi/addons/script.module.zap2xml/bin/tv_grab_zap2xml"

for awhile. On mine it can be 5 minutes for a first time download.

Thanks edit, that seems to be working for me now. I grabbed the latest mechanize that you referenced earlier for good measure. I went to the newer 0.7.3 that you linked, I uncommented the path section, lines 88-99, and looks like it grabbed and parsed 13 channels about 4400 programs, 14 days worth with the appending full descriptions checked off. The new tags are showing up nicely in the guide in Kodi.

Thanks!

Yeah - I need to reqwork this old code section to be compaitble with multiple OSs. It's not that hard - but I haven't had time to mess with it!

Hopefully I can get it cleaned up and release a good version for all OS tomorrow.

@clarkss12 - that's definitely a username/password issue. Make sure you have those correct. If you want - you can look at them in the userdata/addon_data/script.module.zap2xml folder - just open the settings.xml file and look for these lines:

Code:
<setting id="Pass" value="YOURPASSWORD" />
<setting id="User" value="YOURUSERNAME" />

One time I didnt realize that I was putting my schedules direct username in instead of my zap2it username - which is my email address. :-)

I logged out of my one user and logged in with another user name... Zap2it website shows all my listings under the user name....

Is this still only working on python 2.7? I'm trying to remember how it worked, either LibreElec for the Odroid C2 only had support for 2.7 way back when, or it was a 64 bit issue. Things have been working pretty well with this version, I haven't wanted to torture myself trying to go to the latest LE in case they update something like python that may break some of the pieces.

I know I have used the correct user name an password, I used two different ones, and the same thing. It must be something in your code.

Also, I normally use the app from Schedules direct and it is not working either.

OK - see the part that says Logging in as -p - that should say logging in as your user name.

I'm thinking you have a messed up configuration file from the various versions.

I would uninstall the zap2xml addon. And then delete the userdata/addon_data/script.module.zap2xml folder.

Then reinstall this version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kdus6536y62wn6...2.zip?dl=0

You could just try deleting the settings.xml file from that folder first. Then go in to the addon settings and put in your username/password again.

Took awhile for the log to populate. Also, looking at the settings.xml, my user name and password are correct.

Yes, clean install, and reboot prior to installing the new app. Then reboot again after setting user name and password.

OK - that's weird...same version working for me and StitchedChin.
.
Let's try an alternative method to see if we can track the issue. In the actual addon folder (/storage/.kodi/addons/script.module.zap2xml) you'll find a file named .zap2xmlrc

Go ahead and rename that file to something else - then try to rerun the grabber and see if you get the same error.
