A big thanks to jdf76.

The thanks should go to anxdpanic. He's keeping this guy alive!

Who has integrated the InputStream part in the Addon?
I've looked some at using inputstream.adaptive for live, currently it just doesn't play in Kodi 17, and crashes Kodi 18. So I will have to get some things in order and report the issues when I get a chance.

I cannot see any thumbnails. Has anybody else that problem? Kodi 17.3.
Hls DRM is not supported in Krypton until final 17.4 as far as i know. The latest v18 nightly should make it possible in general although it seems difficult to make it work properly. But I am glad and thankful to here that you are working it, maybe peak3d might able to help you

I read quite a few posts about live streams, but most are about stability/buffering. What I am missing is the possibility to seek backwards, i.e. watch from the beginning on a live stream in progress. Once the stream ends that works fine, before it isn't possible. On youtube it is possible in both cases. Is this simply not possible with the API/whatever the addons accesses or not implemented?
An example live stream for this (though obviously soon not live anymore) is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1H0YNKURxw.
As far as I know it will be worked on timeshift buffer but it will last still some time
Hello.
I installed Kodi v17.3 on my pc LENOVO G70.
I use Kubuntu 14.04 LTS.
My concern is: when I launch Youtube, I have the sound but not the vidéo.
I need your help. What settings for Youtube and Kodi?
Thank you for your help.

@mdu02: There are no settings in the YouTube add-on that should effect this. Is it only happening in this add-on?

I would start by changing Render/Decoding Methods and disabling hardware accelerations to find what works for you, and beyond that verify if it's driver related.

If you are unable to resolve it with that information, please provide a debug_log (wiki)

Has there been progress for livestream integration in InputStream?
Being discussed with peak3d and he is looking into it, big thanks to him for that. There is no progress to speak of atm, will post more along with an alpha(if possible) when there is.

Until about 8 days I worked perfectly InputStream in 4k With Kodi 18 and Kodi 17.3. Why does not it work on Kodi 18 now?
Since I updated to 5.4.2, I will occasionally find an empty My Subscriptions menu. If I then sign it, then back in, I'm only prompted for one code, not the two I'm used to. Everything else seems to work, but My Subscriptions remains empty. Ultimately, deleting settings.xml allows me to log back in, but if I enter my API key and ID, I end up signing in again with the single code and losing My Subscriptions.

I'm trying to isolate something in the settings.xml file that releases the second authentication or whatever, but I'm kind of getting in the dark here. Anyone know what's going on?
