Hello,

Since the latest 2 builds from xbmc i noticed some unwanted behaviour. When i go from the homescreen to "movies", "music" etc, i am promted with a "please wait" dialogue for about 2 - 10 secs. With the builds before these, i never had this. The files are stored on a local hd btw. Is there anything i can do about this or is it caused by some sort of new programming of xbmc?

Another annoying issue; when i delete a file or folder it is deleted, but it stays on my hd until i reboot. Then they're gone.

I've browsed the support forums, but couldn't find anything simulair like this.

I'm seeing similar behaviour. The last few builds have been getting slower, it seems.

Yesterday, I tried T3CH-rev9200, and it took me at least 15 seconds to go from homescreen to 'music' (in files view)
When I opened an mp3 file in library view, my hdd rattled noisily for about 8 seconds, before starting playback.

Does it have something to do with database? I reverted back to an April release, which is much faster.

This Xbox must be getting old..!


(But no issues with deletion afaik.)

you want help, we need info. debug log is the MINIMUM.

Well, debug log gives this for about ten pages or more, so I guess it's a skin issue (using Vision). PM3 doesn't have this problem, only takes about 3 seconds to open 'Music'. Vision takes about 15!

Is my assumption correct? Should I just hold on for a Vision update?
